Friday

The jewelry is all made, I have survived the Holiday Bazaar and I am taking a bit of a rest after all this work for the last 2 months.

Although I must say I was proud of myself for sticking to the task of making several pieces of jewelry every day for those months.  I enjoyed going into the craft room at 5 each morning and feeling the quiet calmness that stayed with me for the 3 hours the rest of the family slept.

It was a magical time for me, free to let my thoughts wonder and to let the inspiration flow through me.  Often I was surprised and please to see a finished project in all it's beauty.  It is still hard for me to admit to anyone that I love making things of beauty.  The projects seemed to flow out the end of my fingers and make themselves into beautiful necklaces or bracelets.

And I did keep several of those pretty things for me to wear myself.  I just couldn't resist them and a few were made of beads I have kept for about 40 years.  You know, the kind you like so much and just can't decide what to make of them. Yes, I kept them!
